Hey, I'm the PMV guy

I've been making PMVs since 2023. Started the way most people do - manually cutting in Vegas Pro, spending 3-4 hours on a single 4-minute video, getting frustrated when cuts were one frame off.

Then I tried the Auto PMV Generator script from eroscripts. Spent an afternoon wrestling with Python and FFmpeg. Got it working. Results were... okay. Definitely not worth the setup hassle for anyone non-technical.

Eventually I found Onset Engine. Five minutes from download to finished PMV. That was the moment I realized most people making PMVs are wasting hours on solved problems.

Why this site exists

Because the information about PMV tools is scattered across forum threads from 2019, abandoned GitHub repos, and Reddit comments buried in year-old posts. Nobody has put it all in one place with honest opinions.

This site is that place. I do use affiliate links (the Onset Engine links include a referral tag - full disclosure), but my opinions are genuine. I've spent real time with every tool I review here.

What I make

Mostly aggressive PMVs and the occasional cock hero-style edit. EDM, dubstep, some trap. I have a terrible habit of starting a new PMV at 1am when I should be sleeping. I'm not an expert editor - that's kind of the point. You don't need to be an expert when the software handles the hard part.
