Does Onset Engine work on Mac or Windows?
Onset Engine is Windows-only for now
Windows: Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). No GPU required. An NVIDIA GTX 16-series / RTX 20-series or newer speeds up AI analysis and NVENC exports; AMD cards get hardware export (AMF), with AI analysis on the CPU.
macOS: there's no Mac version yet.
Beat detection is a neural model (Beat This!), and on an NVIDIA card it runs on the GPU. It's a short one-off step per track either way, so it isn't the thing that decides your hardware.
Licensing: each license covers 1 PC. Need a second one, like a laptop? Email support and they'll add it at no charge.
There's no Linux version currently.
