Fap heroes combine clips with pacing that changes speed throughout the video - fast sections, slow sections, edge holds, and bursts. The complexity of the pacing pattern is what makes them challenging to create manually. A good fap hero has several distinct 'rounds' with escalating difficulty.

Tips for Fap Hero / Edge Hero content

• Pick songs with dramatic energy shifts (quiet breakdowns then hard drops) for natural edging/burst pacing.
• The AI's energy mapping naturally creates the slow-fast-slow pattern that fap heroes need.
• For longer fap heroes, add several songs as rounds, or set Length (up to 60 min) and your songs repeat until it is that long.
• Use the Pulse style for an anime-friendly look: a ring closes onto the target on every beat, with nothing crossing the picture.

Music recommendations

Progressive electronic with long buildups and hard drops. Dubstep with extended breakdowns between drops. Multi-section tracks (8+ minutes) that have natural intensity variation. Avoid one-note energy tracks.

Common mistakes to avoid

• Using a song with no breakdowns - fap heroes need quiet/slow sections for edging. A track that's 100% high energy creates a flat experience with no recovery periods.
• Not enough source clips for the duration - a long fap hero needs plenty of clips. Running out of material forces visible repetition.
• Forgetting that rounds need structure - use Rounds... to give each song its own pace and beat pattern, with breaks between the hardest ones.
• Hiding the meter - keep the rhythm bar on and pick a color that stands out from your footage; without it, viewers can't follow the intended rhythm.
• Choosing songs where tempo literally changes (rubato, live recordings) - the beat detection works best with steady-tempo electronic music where only the energy/intensity varies.

What you'll still do manually

The rhythm bar comes in three styles and five colors, not a custom-drawn meter, and text on screen is limited to round titles, countdowns and the bar's labels. Free text prompts at any moment still need an editor. Rounds, Length and the energy arc need Core; the rhythm bar works on every plan.
