Steps

Import your clips

Add your clip folder with + Folder… (or single videos with + Files…). It accepts all the common video formats - MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, WebM. No need to pre-cut or organize. The AI handles clip selection and trimming. On Core and Studio, clips are indexed in place, so nothing is copied onto your drive; each video is analyzed once when you add it.

Pick your music

Pick any audio file (MP3, FLAC, WAV, OGG). The AI immediately analyzes the track with a neural beat + downbeat model (Beat This!) - mapping beats, bar starts, drops and the energy curve.

Choose a preset

Select a preset that matches your desired style. Sensual uses longer clips with smooth transitions. Aggressive fires rapid cuts on every beat. Standard is a balanced middle ground. There are 9 presets total including Hypnosis, Prestige, Trailer, AMV, Raw, and VHS.

Preview and adjust

Generate a quick draft and watch it before the full render. Use Curator tools to fine-tune: Swap a clip for a similar one, Slip timing, Pin clips you want locked, or Re-Roll the clips you haven't locked. Most people don't change much - the defaults are solid.

Export

Hit render. Core tier exports at 1080p/60fps, Studio tier goes up to 4K. Render time depends on the style and resolution, and a graphics-card encoder (NVENC or AMF) speeds it up. Done.
